Hi Dan, With a little set up ahead of time, it's possible. Create a unique message queue for the job, have the job attach a break message handling program to the queue, and have that break handling program receive a message from the queue and execute it with QCMD. The message could be pretty much any command to which the job's user has authority, including ADDLIBLE. Robbin Chewings wrote this up in a magazine article decades ago - I don't remember the name of the mag. If you'd like some source code, let me know. hth, Peter Dow Dow Software Services, Inc. 909 425-0194 voice 909 425-0196 fax ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Rasch" <drasch@mail.win.org> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2001 11:32 AM Subject: Inserting a library into a submitted job > > I am asking this question suspecting the answer is no, but keeping > an open mind. > > Is there any way to insert a library into a submitted job once it > has begun?
