I can vouch for SPLTOOL doing the job. I wanted a simple way for users
to fax via the IBM fax product on an ad hoc basis. In less than 1 day,
I downloaded and installed SPLTOOL, set up 2 user options within it ("F"
to fax to a number already in the fax master list and "FI" to 'fax
immediate' by entering an ad hoc fax number), and trained the users. I
also showed them the copy to stream file option so they can take any
report into a PC file without a hassle. Love it.

So I just got in under the wire, eh? :)
