Pat: I do not think this is correct. The 7852 does not support the 208 Bell standard. The only modem I know of that support the 208 Bell standard and the v.32 standards is the UDS 2860. They are VERY expensive for a modem though. I think the last one we installed was about $1300. cjg Carl J. I can recall a time when you had to have identical modems on both ends to get anything to work, but this modem sure changed that. As a side note, this modem is NOT manufactured by IBM. They provided the standards and another company built it.
