Does anyone know if there's any way to start the Telnet Server so that it
runs on multiple ports on iSeries?

I've tried adding an extra entry to the System Service Table for an extra
port for Telnet, but that didn't appear to work.

What I'm looking for is a way to monitor Telnet session starts. When a
session starts, if it comes in on a specific port, I want to do one thing
with it. If it comes in on the default port of 23, I don't want to do
anything to it. I've written an exit program for Telnet that will check the
port. However, since I can't get the Telnet server to run on multiple ports
at the same time...this kind of shoots this idea out of the water. I'm
hoping that maybe someone has an idea of how to get the Telnet Server to run
on multiple ports.

Suggestions?
