Windows desktop and it automatically becomes a text
file.  How are you doing the download?  Perhaps it's a
PTF/service pack issue.  Go to Start,Programs, IBM
Client Access, Client Access Properties and see what
versionyou're on.  What version of OS/400 are you
connecting to?  That should helpstart troubleshoot
this...

I do copy and paste of the spool. This becomes a text
document on the PC.
Client Access version on PC : Ver 3 Rel 2 Mod Level 0
Service Level none
OS/400 version :V4R3M0 L00
As for the Client Access programs on the AS400 there
is a mix of : V3R1M1 & V3R2M0 &V3R1M0
