I have never seen this problem.  I drag the spooled file from OpsNav to the
Windows desktop and it automatically becomes a text file.  How are you doing
the download?  Perhaps it's a PTF/service pack issue.  Go to Start,
Programs, IBM Client Access, Client Access Properties and see what version
you're on.  What version of OS/400 are you connecting to?  That should help
start troubleshoot this...
