Thanks for the tip. Indeed the problem was that no
service pack had been applied. Using the 'Check
Service Pack level' option, I updated the client on my
PC (from AS400). Trying the spool download again -
bingo all pages are downloaded successfully. In fact
this problem is referenced as :
APAR = SA78258 CA400WINOPT-INCORROUT OP NAVIGATOR DRAG
AND DROP FROM SPOOL
