I have heard of two products: Telemar and TeleMagic. I'm no expert on
either one, but I worked for a company that used both at various times.
IIRC, Telemar started as an AS/400-based package, went through a romance
of sorts with Unix, and may have ended up back on the AS/400. It's
strength was for outbound, script-based call operations, but it did have
reasonable contact-management features (which may have gotten better). It
also offered synchronization with PCs for distributed sales forces.

TeleMagic was a PC-based product that I noticed started advertising in the
AS/400 trade mags as having an AS/400 product also. The company I worked
for switched from TeleMagic to Telemar because they wanted the integration
with other enterprise data (who didn't ;-). Users preferred TeleMagic (or
Act!), but that may be because it's what they knew. Also, AS/400-based
packages trying to run on PCs sometimes aren't pretty. But I'm sure both
products have changed a lot since I left (early '98). . .
