Howard, The three values you list are characteristics of any job on an AS/400. They are controlled by an object called a Class. When a batch job initiates in a subsystem, it contains a compare value which is compared to the routing entries in the subsystem description. These routing entries contain a reference to the class to be used for the job. If you wish to change these characteristics, then find out what class is being referenced and change it (a bad idea if the class is used by other jobs) or create a new class and change the routing entry to reference the new class (a better idea). To get an idea of the classes available on your system, take a look at the WRKCLS command. To see the routing entries in your subsystems, try the WRKSBSD command. I realize this is just a start, but hopefully it will point you in the right direction. If you have the opportunity, the IBM Work Management manual for your release level will give good background in these areas.
