He has a *real* GUI (it wasn't the browser that impressed him) on his
desktop accessing the AS/400. But the monitor isn't as nice because it's a
bulky 19" CRT, and his GUI isn't as repsonsive as their dealership package
because the dealership's PC server can run circles around his AS/400 as a
database server. I know that's akin to blasphemy on this list, but think
about it. Their SCSI disk system transfers data at 160MBs; the 170 peaks at
40MBs. Do the math.
