Chuck, >agree to get rid of the LAST one we had (which was NOTHING but >trouble) I put in a 5225-4 at a client back in Feb 1982, to use as the system printer for a S/34. They kept that thing through a few S/36 upgrades, then a couple of 400 upgrades, and didn't get a new system printer until about 2-3 years ago. They didn't retire it out of the computer room until last year. It was a workhorse, and served as a system printer for probably 17 years, even if it did deserve the name shake 'N bake. But it was very reliable, even if it didn't have very many features compared to newer printers.
