Mark,
I have to disagree with you here.  The "I" response basically says to ignore
the alignment and go ahead and print.  Thus it will prompt you for alignment
for the next spool file.  The "G" response says that you have aligned the
paper and to go ahead.  With a "G" it won't ask again until the spool writer
is ended and started again.

Which option is being taken to the "Verify Alignment" message?  If you use
the "I" option, it will go away.  If "G" is used, it will do exactly what
you are seeing.
