Okay, I'm missing something.
If Dan is out until Thursday, how will sending a message to this list alert
him to do something about this? Sure, he should see it Thursday buried in
the stack of Midrange.com emails. But maybe you could just send him a
notification directly.

I tell you what, I'll start doing that too if it will help. These OOF emails
haven't really bugged me but if they are a problem for people, then maybe
what we can do is just to notify the sender. But I recommend we notify them
directly, not via the group.
