The only think that I can immediately think of is that Microsoft changed the
networking stack in ME to match up with Win2k. I believe that is when they
made it UNIX standard (or close anyway). It might have something to do with
that. 

What Microsoft would say...Upgrade to XP, it is better

We are experiencing slow iSeries access from both Win ME PCs here. 
Other versions of Windows are fine.  Win ME accesses other network computers
(running W95, W98, and Lantastic) just fine.  It's only Win ME and the
iSeries.

Anybody else experiencing this?

I've checked the archives and MS knowledge base with no luck.
