You can use the CRTCLS command to create a new Class object or you use the CRTDUPOBJ to copy from a similar Class to your new one. Once you have your Class created, use the CHGRTGE command to refer to it. A "Class" is a unique object that is used to set run attributes when the routing entry is used. You set such things as "run priority", "time slice", etc. If you look at different Classes (such as QINTER and QBATCH)you will notice that different types of attributes are set for different types of jobs (such as Interactive vs. Batch vs Communications). The "Work Management" guide contains more detailed information on this and other job initiation type objects.
