Run, don't walk from these drives.

a) They do *NOT* have IBM Microcode and cannot accept IBM PTFs.
b) They may or may not be compatable with new OS versions (such as V5R1)
and have in fact caused problems with V4R5
c) While your IBM CE will work on them it is under a contract with BCC
*NOT* with you. So when they fail you call BCC, BCC calls IBM, IBM shows
up when they can.
d) You must inform IBM that you have installed non IBM componants in
your system. SHould IBM believe they are the cause of some failure you
must remove them to prove they are not. Too bad about your data.
e) I have one customer that had 10 of them delivered just to get a set
of 4 to work! (I'd sleep well with those drives in MY system.... *NOT*)
