  • Subject: Working with multiple languages from AS/400?

I have a requirement to begin working with trading partners in Asia who will
be sending EDI documents in their language, Japanese, Chineese, Korean,
etc., and I need to receive these and place them onto our AS/400 into a JDE
- World enviroment. Our system is in the United States and is currently an
English only environment.

Then when we have done something on the AS/400 we will need to send
documents to the same trading partners again in their language, although we
want to keep it in English on our system.

Has anyone on this list ever tried to do something like this. I am at the
very early stages of research into this and am just looking for places to go
where I can learn what must be done. I would very much appreciate any
guiadance that anyone can provide me.

Thanks in advance
