Yes, for some Best/1 jobs which utilise it for scheduling.

Some staff still use wrkjobscde, with the (News/400) CRTDUPSCDE utility.

It's fine for basic jobs like daily queries,
but for jobs like SAVCHG backups, setting QINTER *sbsd *public authority to
*USE,
there are prerequisite jobs better handled by 3rd-party software with
cycles & exception calendars.

Oh, the joys of working thru jobscde every Friday before a Bank Holiday
weekend,
omit this date, reschedule that, only 100 entries to go, what fun it was !
