I strongly believe that your answer was wrong. PLIC exists within LIC, and
LIC is backed up on a SAVSYS, which is a part of Option 21 save. This is
done on a partition by partition basis.

then there is no *Super option 21* rather a repetitive option 21, partition
by partition save/restore mentioned earlier is correct.
