Hello Phil,

They are listed in the Programming Reference Summary (SC41-4720) in the "Files
Used By Commands" chapter.

They are also supposed to be listed in the help text for the particular DSPxxx
command under the OUTFILE parameter -- due to Rochester wanting to drop the
reference summary. (Prompt the command and put the cursor on the OUTFILE
keyword
and press F1) For example the DSPOBJD command shows:

"Note: If a new file is created, the text describing that file is
"Output file for DSPOBJD" and the public authority is the same as
the create authority specified for the library in which the file is
created. Use the Display Library Description (DSPLIBD) command to
show the library's create authority. The database format (QLIDOBJD)
of the output file is the same as that used in the IBM-supplied file
database QADSPOBJ."

The last sentence is the important one.

Failing that you can also use PDM to show a list of the PFs in QSYS. Most of
the outfile templates have a description. Use:

        wrkobjpdm qsys *all *file objatr('PF-DTA')

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
