I have applied a cumptf for V4R3 to a model 150, the cume was ordered from a model 170. What you can't do is install a new release of the operating system on a model 150 using cds from a different AS/400 model. the model 150 has its own verison of the SLIC. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fred Mitchell" <fred@ccl400.com> To: <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2001 12:41 PM Subject: PTFs for model 150 > > Does anyone know if I can use any cummulative PTF package on a model 150? > > I have a 170 at V4R5 with the latest cummulative and I have just upgraded a > 150 to V4R5 but did not get a cummulative PTF package with the 150 upgrade. > Can I use the cum from my 170 on the 150 > > I have always had something in the back of my mind that 150's were slightly > different from other AS400's but I may be wrong. > > -- > Fred Mitchell > Concise Consulting Ltd. > Newcastle upon Tyne, England > mailto:fred@ccl400.com > http://www.ccl400.com > +--- > > > +--- > | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! > | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. > | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. > | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. > | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com > +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
