Brooks,

Try something like this:
             DCL        VAR(&libl) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(275)
             DCL        VAR(&command) TYPE(*CHAR) LEN(300)
             RTVJOBA    USRLIBL(&libl)
             CHGLIBL       LIBL(some libraries...)

             do some stuff here...

             CHGVAR     VAR(&command) VALUE('CHGLIBL LIBL(' +
                         || &libl |< ')')
             CALL       PGM(QCMDEXC) PARM(&command 300)

Hope this helps,

Mark

Anyone know of a way to save the current library list, change it for an
application and then restore the original list? I've tried saving to a 250
*char variable and then using CHGLIBL after the application, but the
command doesn't understand the variable.

I think I've seen this done a few years ago in DCMS, a package written by
Kurt Salmon Associates in Atlanta, but I'm not certain now.

Thanks,
Brooks Roach
