Ray, Try Chapter 5.5 of the IBM Redbook "Who Knew You Could Do That with RPG IV ? A Sorcerer's Guide to System Access and More". I read the book, played with the examples, then worked on implementing with our NT based web programs. Works like a champ. We are presently working on converting an old green screen application to web based, (with the idea of having vendors enter their own info) and have discussed makeing the changes necessary to our existing framework to identify if the data request comes from the web server and needs to be translated to ASCII or if it comes from a green screen client and we can skip the translation. That way our internal users don't have to use the web site if they don't want to. Cyndi B. Boise, ID Ray said: Hmmm.....where could I find examples of these? Especially an RPGLE- sockets pgm??? Now that sound intriguing.. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
