Could you possibly be using an IBM 7852-400 modem, maybe an older one
without the latest flash update, and switching from Sync to Async mode for
the EDI connection (via PPP?)?
Could you also be on an older (than V4R4 or V4R5) release of OS/400 -
without the related 7852/PPP PTF's ?

Hi all,

Everyday the modem we use for EDI hangs and we have to manually turn it
off
and on again.
Is there a way to do this through a command of some sort ? (like AT&F ?)

Thanks for the advice,
Bart
