Why didn't IBM Just supply an extra parameter with the amount of libraries returned parm as *25 or *250 on the RTVJOBA command with the default being *25 to prevent ANY re-compiles/fixits etc... Granted the extra 225 libraries would be empty, but functionality would be maintained across the board, and when you want to use the new functionality - change the parm to *250... So here's the upgrade path; 1) RISC to RISC roadmap stuff 2) PTF's 3) Search & Fix CL programs with any Library Lists in them 4) Upgrade the Operating System 5) Compile the CL programs from Step 3... Madness... hope all of this is well documented in the OS upgrade manual, or do I have to find it in the CL programmers Reference with an asterisk next to library list names ... I have to ask - why did we open this Pandora's box for software vendors to sloppily place fix libraries in 225 more places then they had before?!?!?
