Dave,

These are prestart jobs that service SQL requests. It's used by (I think)
JDBC and/or ODBC jobs. If you have PCs or Java programs accessing your AS400
for data, then that's your problem. You will need to find these programs and
end them before trying to end these prestart jobs.

In subsystem QSYSWRK, there are multiple jobs running with the job name
QSQSRVR  and user is QUSER.

What are these jobs and how do I terminate them? They have locks on files
that I need to back up nightly.
