Pete, I've tried "set option", but it's only allowed in REXX or a precompiled program. The green screen version (STRSQL) allows you to change the commitment control mode in the session attributes, but I've been unable determine how to accomplish this in Run SQL Script. I kind of expected to find something under options, connections, or on the ODBC driver setup. I'm also looking for a way to add my own examples to the "SQL statement examples" drop down. I have a standard SQL statement I use to display a table's structure so I know which columns to include in a query. I've worked around this by saving the statement in a read-only .SQL file which I always use to start Run SQL Scripts, but it would be nice to add this and other statements to the examples. I don't know if it's the solution, but I'd try "set option commit=*chg". Are the tables journalled?
