  • Subject: Using the IFS to serve reports as web pages on the Intranet

On a 170 at V4R2 and an IP address of 198.168.12.6 with host servers on I
can use a browser to see the sample web page provided with the machine.

I would like to add 3 new files to the IFS and have them accessible by
browser.

The files are: Report01.html Backgrd.jpg and Corplogo.gif The web
page displays in a browser correctly from my C:\ drive.

I used Ops Navigator to copy the three files into the same folder as the
Welcome.html file. Then I renamed Welcome.html to WelcomeOriginal.html
and renamed Report01.html to Welcome.html. At that point
http://192.168.12.6 displays my new page, but the images are not found.

Any suggestions or ideas why the images aren't found, yet the images for
the original sample file works just fine?

I even looked for an article or a manual dealing with this but found
nothing. If you know of a place for to look, I'd appreciate the
suggestion.
