Neil, I am not sure what you are asking here ! Any interactive session can be a console as long as you sign on with the proper security. For normal activity. For Restricted mode and LPAR work from the LPAR 0 partition you would need more.. Also, your IP routing is going to be different, as each partition is a SYSTEM.
