Joe, Joe, Joe, tell me it ain't so. :-( IMHO, the problem that most of us, well I can only speak for myself, so the problem that -I- have with your very well stated discourse is value for a particular purpose. I would love to give my users a snappy looking, sexy, GUI but at what cost and for what gain? I'm talking about existing users. Let's face the facts, new (first time IBM'ers) are -not- within the AS/400 radar. I'm not going to debate the -how- because you've pointed out very well that the -how- depends and where you're at and where you want to be. I'm going to beg the question: why?
