In OpsNav, under Network/Server/TCP/IP there is a server call RouteD. This
sever will make your AS400 act like a Router. Right now, if I understand
your configuration, the clients do not know how to reach the 10.100.100.x IP
address of your router. IP data gram forwarding will not give you the
ability to route to that subnet. IP data gram forwarding is a huge security
hole. I would not use it. Routing is much more controllable, there for
more secure in my opinion. Configuration of the RouteD server is beyond the
scope of my knowledge. I just know it is there and you need a router to get
from 198.x.x.x, or what ever you had, to the 10.100.100.x subnet. IP data
gram forwarding is to get from one adapter to the other if they are plugged
into separate physical networks, with no filtering!

What is the router server? I'm not familiar with this.
