!st I would recommend all the tcp printer related ptf's (IBM has been fixing lot's of stuff)see doc V4RxMx PTF Listing for HPT Printing in Support Line Knowledge Base at http://www.as400service.ibm.com/ Also try on chgoutq the "destination options" XAUTOQ (in caps). Page 173 of Redbook Printing V has a paragraph on avoiding timeout with this. Also says to make sure *SPOOL pool has minimum 6meg memory (probably more for your big jobs). XAUTOQ also parm in sndtcpsplf & crtoutq. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cyndi Bradberry" <CyndiB@IHFA.ORG> To: "'MIDRANGE-L@midrange. com' (E-mail)" <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 28, 2001 12:01 PM Subject: IP Printer question > All, > This is a long e-mail. > We have several Optra printers connected via ethernet and IP to our AS/400. > There are times when we have large jobs, 700 to 1000 pages to print.
