All, I am trying to expand my knowledge base, so be kind. I took a look at the NETSTAT *CNN. For all of the PC's that connect with C/A on the 10.10.1.xxx part of our network they all have one connection to port 8470 (Central server is used when a Client Access license is required, and also for downloading translation tables) and to port 23 (TELNET). Our remote locations which are identified by 10.10.2.xxx etc have the port 23 connection but not port 8470. Can someone point me to the reason or the next place to look ? As far as I know, everything is the same except for location of the pc and what the IP address is. Can someone please explain this to me ?
