Big Problem here. A CL program that I wrote and compiled successfully, with usrprf *owner, would not work for the user, it bombed when it tried to end a writer, (insufficient authority). My boss re-compiled and it worked fine. The difference is that I have *ALLOBJ, *JOBCTL and *SPLCTL via my group profile only, he has these and also *SECADM on his own. Is that the issue? With out changing my profile situation is there a way around this, not including having my boss compile all my programs.

Thanks,

Frank

Or just use SNA over IP - faster, point to point and all the
functionality of SNA with none of the hassle.
