  • Subject: Disabling Reverse DNS on Server Applications

IBM does a reverse DNS whenever a client connects to the server. Look in a
QZDASOINIT joblog for CPIAD12 to see what I mean ("Servicing user profile
WEBUSER from client pluto.techsoftwareinc.com.")

Is there a way to disable this? This seems like a colossal waste of time to
do a reverse DNS for each connection. I know it's my web server connecting
and I want the connection as fast as possible. Replacing the DNS name with
the IP would be fine.

Ideas?
