Here's a guess, what does the wire look like? It should be straight through but if the wire is being reversed between the connectors, the signal is not going through at the right point on the connector. I forget the nomenclature used with the types of wire but obviously not the twinaxial type. Can you try the wire that you have connecting DSP03 on DSP02? Or...aren't there 3-4 and 2-5 baluns, try the opposite of what you have now on DSP02? Of course the pig-tail could be bad or a problem with the base or the configuration of the terminal itself but it's been way too long to remember without one in front of me. Hope this helps.
