Curt, Sorry I can't be of much help with your actual problem. I just wanted to tell you that the Find Computer function is still there in Windows 2000. From the Start button menu, chose Search, Files or Folders. When the search window appears, scroll the left-hand pane all the way to the buttom and you will see a section "Search for other items" where there is a link to search for computers. My guess is that your original problem is due to Windows network configuration rather then Netserver. It seems to me that Netserver would respond the same regardless of where the request originated, as long as the request can find its way to the AS/400. I had similar problems when my Netserver was not defined to the WINS server. Also, there is a place in your Netserver configuration where you identify your WINS server. This may have something to do with it. -Marty +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
