Sorry, did not get to check mail yesterday until very late.  You also may
try (if you have one) to use a switch rather than a hub.  But with no other
traffic on the network, I do not think it would make any difference.

You could have suggested that earlier.....
I did another test tonight, AS/400 - hub - AS/400 only, not significantly
faster.

The collision light on the hub was blinking like a Christmas tree!
