All set, I'm not sure
what happened. The FTP servers were showing running on both systems,
and like I said from my CL programs that run, files were being
transferred, but from a command line I could not do it. So basically
I stopped the servers and restarted them and everything is

Have you tried doing a
STRTCPSVR *FTP? I assume you can ping the 400. Do a netstat option
3 to see of the FTP server is running. Also in sbs QSYSWRK you should
see the FTP server jobs running, they usually begin with QTFPTxxxxxx.
Can you FTP to the 400 from a PC? Try going to a DOS prompt and typing
FTP system. This will help determine if the problem is the server, the
client or the network.

We ftp files for our
EDI system between out two AS/400's. We re-booted one of the AS/400's
a couple of days ago. Now I cannot FTP from "Junior"
to "Senior". I get - cannot connect to host try
later. I re-started all the tcpservers and still
nothing. I can start ftp on the other box and reach
"Junior", so I'm assuming there is something else that was not started
on this box outside of TCP?
