For its time, BPCS V4.4 was a great application.  I'm biased, since I was the architect, but it was still one heck of an application.  And it still runs quite well after being Y2K enabled.  I can't name any ERP package that matches it on any platform.  It may not be "great" anymore, but it's still very impressive.

There were no great applications running on DEC equipment and I never saw any on Wang either.  DEC had to keep getting faster processors to run their Basic (not Visual Basic) programs.
