its been a while, but I beleive the
64 is because it will "negotiate" the smallest number
of either of the two LU's (logical units) talking to each other.
your mode is 256 session, but whatever it is talking
to must be 64 session.
There is also a Support Line doc
Maximum Number of Devices and Sessions on 5x94
that has table listing max devices for diff models.
