David, DSL is good news! However, I have to wonder, you'll still have an ISP
to deal with, won't you? How, then, does DSL allow you to "go direct"?

Once the listservers are on DSL, will you also have more control of the
sequence of messages arriving at subscribers' inboxes? In other words, will I
no longer receive replies to a message that arrives later than the reply
itself?

Folks:

Just a reminder ... message turn around time is largely dependant on my ISP
(WinStar / MCSNet). They process the actual messages going out to the
net. I connect to them about ever 5 minutes or so.

Once I get DSL, my connection to the net will be direct and thus turn
around time will be more under my own control. I'm hoping to switch over
to DSL sometime this year.
