I've never worked on an async console, so can't tell if the following will help, but have you tried using the data queue technique for auto-refreshing the screen. You get a bit more flexibility, in that you can set the wait time you want at run time (or at any point while the program runs). I've got a DDS / RPG/400 example on my site (go to the Usenet code samples in the Extras section[1]) which may give some further tips. There's a DDS / CL auto-refresh routine there as well. > > Third problem: > > How to avoid the erasure of the screen when the > > RPG program returns. > > > > TIA > > Leif Svalgaard > > Regards, Martin [1] I really must put anchors in so I can just post a specific URL ;-) -- martin@dbg400.net / jamaro@firstlinux.net http://www.dbg400.net DBG/400 - DataBase Generation utilities Free test environment tools for the AS/400 and misc other stuff +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
