RE: Commands on Remote FTP

You aren't doing a remote command are you?  Aren't you actually logged in 
to the remote machine at that point?  So, try without the RCMD,  see if 
that works for you.  btw,  "!" is equivalent to QUOTE

syntax is QUOTE RCMD CRTSAVF LIB/file

I just tried that and AS400 FTP doesn't recognize RCMD as a sub-command
either. When I took help from within FTP I couldn't see RCMD in the list 
of
sub-commands either. Is there something I'm missing?
