Chuck, sorry in taking so long to respond. On the V4R5 System Builder book
on page 448 and according to partnerline, this is a direct upgrade path.  Of
course the specifics are what can be pretty trying. I know as a general
practice during any upgrade, I've learned to save specifically QGPL and
QUSRSYS because they get overlayed during the OS upgrade. I think as with
most of us admin's we save our custom programs, objects in these libraries
and it becomes an issue when upgrading the OS.  I'm trying to dig up more
info and if I get any, I'll send it to you. Hope you had a good Turkey
holiday.
