Chuck, sorry in taking so long to respond. On the V4R5 System Builder book on page 448 and according to partnerline, this is a direct upgrade path. Of course the specifics are what can be pretty trying. I know as a general practice during any upgrade, I've learned to save specifically QGPL and QUSRSYS because they get overlayed during the OS upgrade. I think as with most of us admin's we save our custom programs, objects in these libraries and it becomes an issue when upgrading the OS. I'm trying to dig up more info and if I get any, I'll send it to you. Hope you had a good Turkey holiday. -----Original Message----- From: Chuck Lewis [mailto:clewis@iquest.net] Sent: Tuesday, November 21, 2000 2:29 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Upgrade from V4R1 to V4R5 - Has anyone done this? Gee, we're NOT the only ones considering this Paul ! I'm interested in hearing info on this. I THOUGHT there was a tread awhile back that this WAS do-able... Not sure though !
