I seem to be unable to use the data transfer utility in CA. I'm using CA Express V4R5, and OS V4R5. I'm trying to transfer a file from the 400 to my desktop. I loaded the latest PTF CUME for OS/400, plus a CA fix. I've also installed the latest service pack on the client (PC). It returns a message CWBDB0058: unable to start database server due to comm error. return code: 6060. It provides a few solutions, which I've tried. When I use cwbping, there is an error related to database server, but it goes by so fast, I can't tell what it says completely. I used the STRPJ command to start program QZDAINIT in LIB QIWS in subsystem QSERVER, as the help message suggests. No change. I tried the STRHOSTSRV command to start *all and *database servers. No change. I also used the START TCP servers option on the TCP menu, and still no change. I'm sort of desperate to figure this out as it's the only way I have to post my booklist on our website. Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks!
