Mike, <snip> ... companies who do not have an attitude like Cornerstone's are doomed to constant turnover. </snip> And sometimes even we have turnover for the silliest reasons. Eg: Programmer person comes to me and says "I want a raise". I say "How much?". They say "xx,xxx per year". I come back, "we are going to give you a little more than what you asked for". They say great. One month later, he quits. Says he was insulted by the "little bit more". Refused to give any other reasons. Where did I go wrong? By not reading their mind? This is a true story. And I'm out a $15,000 recruiter fee. This is why companies like "signed agreements". Much of the time they are not enforceable, but at least it might make somebody pause and think about what they are doing. And yes. Anybody who works for Cornerstone must sign a non-compete/non-disclosure agreement. They are told this and given a copy during the interview process. It is a condition of employment.
