We have covered this before, but define what you call a "Long Time".....

What is your attachment method ???(token ring,tcp/ip,twinax,CA/400,etc)

How much memory does the printer have ??

How "busy" is the overlay ??? (logo's,boxes,lines,pictures,BIG letters)

Does the printer have an IPDS card ??

Do you have an IBM printer with IPDS on it to run a test ???
