Title: RE: ending jobs normally

can you send me the code?  My programer would like to see it so he can implement it....  If they have to call me everytime to signon then maybe things will change.  The best thing is these user's start quite a bit earlier than me - so the wait will be worth it's punishment in gold.... (feeling like Dr. Evil right about now.... hmmmm pinky up to mouth)

Security was NEVER an issue around here when we were running MAC PAC.  We have tighted that up quite a bit, now that we are on JDE.  My Pgmr and myself are the implementers and the one that people complain to when they have to change their password every 30 days.  I am SO sick of hearing "WE NEVER CHANGED IT BEFORE"....  So It's hard for me to button things up around here and get the point across that we are NOW totally integrated... stop giving out your passwords and start signing off...

We had a problem with people staying signed on too.  I wrote a program
that runs 10 minutes before backup that emails every user signed on,
waits 5 minutes, then disables everyone left on.  Doesn't help with your
exact problem (since I don't end their jobs nicely) but they have to
call someone the next day to explain why they didn't sign off.  Has cut
down our problem a lot!
