Yes there is a Host Table on the AS400.
CFGTCP then option 10. Work with TCP/IP host table entries
You will need to know the IP address of the MAC computer.  You can add the
computer name as well as up to 3 aliases.  You will need configuration
authority to do this.

        I am clue less so if someone can send me a message off-line I would
appreaiate it.  I have a MAC on an Ethernet and need to place an entry into
the Windows Equivalant of a hosts file..  

        a.) Is there such a thing ???

        b.) Where does one find it ??
